[ Ten minute after the Heroes of Light reached the sixth district, a mechanical voice can be heard coming from inside the facility. The voice breaks down, as if it were a failing system that hadn't been used in a very long time. ]

Security System: Activated .

[ Immediately thereafter, the Heroes are transported in the facility as a short-distance teleportation beams activates and locks on anyone present in the facility or its vicinity. The beam is painless, but the landing may be painful. This particular group appears in some sort of office-- There is an abandoned, messy desk and lots of papers all around. Soon, the mechanical voice speaks again. ]

Facility Lockdown . . .
Releasing security units . . .
Order: Eliminate all intruders .

[ All windows go black and seal off, preventing sunlight from reaching the room or someone from breaking out. There are mechanical noises in the distance. Characters familiar with this sort of technology may recognize the noises as those of primitive robots activating and walking. ]

Isn't it just like the government...

[ Sho just stays where he landed, half in a crouch, his white coat pooling around him and making him look a little like a head floating above a blob of ice cream. he took in the surroundings, his lips curling back at the voice and the distant sounds of mechanics starting before standing up, the coat still looking a little large for him. it was suppose to be large, not only did it add some bulk to his slim frame, but also hid the guns he use to carry every where.

but right now, he wore it because it was familiar and he needed something familiar in this place. ]

Leaving things to work only after the front door's been kicked in.

[If it's not Sho's comments, it's the way things are advancing that has him thinking the worst. Dressed in his Monk garb this time, he drops into a stance to ready himself for a fight.

The company he used to work for has similar methods and they are the driving force of power which isn't new to him. The company known as the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company has similar machines in its arsenal. He's not happy to see this sort of thing happen again in a place that he thinks is better off without this sort of messed up thinking.

He shakes his head to rid himself of the lingering thoughts.]

Now's not the time to think about the past. We push through and move forward. Strike them hard and fast and maybe we'll find a way out of this mess.

Allenby didn't mind the landing much. Matter of fact, it was pretty easy, one one foot, but the other went right out from under her.

Huffing a bit she sits on the floor a moment and just listens as the rest of the group sort of... poofs their way in. "This whole 'showing up somewhere new' thing is getting really o--" Listening for a moment, she can already see the rest of her team ready for a fight.

"I don't suppose the REST of you are experienced in fighting robots? It was my job back home but..." We'll just leave it at that for the time being.

"It's all part of the training." Angeal grinned, though it was short lived.

Training scenarios were done with robots and hitting them with his fists were something he had gotten used to since his sword was never used. However, the lack of mako in his blood had put him in a disadvantage, if somewhat with something else gained through his job as a monk.

"Nevermind what we used to do, let's just get it over with." For now, it was a matter of getting out than talking about the things they used to do.

"I don't even know how much experience would be helpful here," Rose interjected. "Given how differently some things seem to work here, expecting anything in particular could be dangerous."

Of course, Rose was mainly worried about someone else getting hurt trying to protect her. The best way to prevent that, to her mind, was to establish competence early. Then they might assume she could take care of herself rather than assuming the old lady needed help.

There was something familiar about Rose. There was a strong sense of understanding that she was a lot like his own mother and he was instantly hushed. She was just as stubborn but that wasn't what had him mentally pinned to the wall.

Her spirit was almost exactly the same and Angeal had to blink at least twice to see that she wasn't his mother at all but someone else entirely different. Now wasn't the time to argue such things. Even he could see that she wasn't wanting to be a burden by anyone. "Understood."

However, this didn't mean by any stretch that he wasn't going to leave her out of his sight, if he could help it. He wasn't going to dote on her, but he would be there in case she needed his help.

She didn't say anything to announce her presence, but instead, began to weave her spell, speaking softly to herself, "Armor of light, halt physical might..." as protect surrounded the group she had found herself in. Yuna wore a bit of a sheepish expression, sinking a little into the hood of her robes after Protect had taken effect.

"This... should help us, at least a little bit."
