Opening up the flower shop~
Where: Aqures Ixen: Terra’s new flower shop (Also a rescue center for animals and pets) located at the border between the 14th and 09th District of Aqures Ixen.
When: 9th through the month of May~ and June!
Summary: Terra has just opened her shop, Jardin Verdoyant, after spending some time and money getting it ready. Bartz had helped her where he could. Now it is open and ready for business. In June Terra can be found at the flower shop or her home. The memories left her feeling a little uncomfortable about people.
Warning: None.
Terra had made sure the shop was perfect before sending out Tempest with the flyers. There were rows of plants cut from the stem and rearranged in lovely patterns as well as rows of bright seasonal flowers that were still rooted to a clump of soft dirt. She wanted people to be able to plant flowers as well as have them to be placed in a vase or given as gifts. She had collected seeds as well, which sat in small baskets on the front counter, each with the flowers names written out on small pieces of parchment. The whole store front burst with colors drawing in those who walked by.
The back of the store was simple, Terra was in the process of outfitting it as a greenhouse of sorts and she hoped to have it set up so she could grow spring and summer flowers throughout the winter. On the far side of that wall there were pens and a dozen or so kittens were playing with small toys that Terra had made a few days before. Two of the kittens, whom Terra has trained, were wandering around the store front pulling in customers with soft meows. One was black with startling blue green eyes while the other was an orange tabby cat who’s eyes shined gold in the light of the sun.
Terra was excited and it showed in a happy smile as she lightly misted water over a collection of carnations.
She had her long green hair pulled back into a ponytail with loose strains falling to frame her delicate features. For once Terra wasn't wearing a dress deciding to wear a purple tank top and a pair of worn shorts. She wore brown boots that ended at her calf which were slightly covered in dirt and scuffed from work.

Her bright blue gaze glanced over towards Robin. "I can teach you, if you'd like." Though she wasn't the best teacher she would at least try her best. Terra began to collect things and place them on the counter: a pot, a small empty bag, a tray that she placed under the pot and then a small bag of soil.
"Here. You can pick out seeds from the basket. They are all different colors." That aren't labeled and so it's assumed that it will be a surprise. "Take 7 or so seeds and place it in the pot with a little soil and water. Water once day, just so the soil is moist and then wait. Only one or two seeds will take but it will grow. You should see green in about a week." Terra smiled.

"This seems pretty straight forward," she said. "Can you fit more than one flower in a pot? I was thinking one of the blue ones and one of the violet ones." She pointed in turn.
no subject
"Flowers are amazing. Given care they will grow and fill whatever space you give them." She looked up at Robin with a slight smile. "Over time that is."
She feel into a comfortable silence as she collected the rest of the things. Terra was more used to silence being rather shy are those she's just met.

"It seems like a puzzle," she said. It reminded her of troop formations, but that wasn't the comparison she wanted to make. Talking about war wasn't all that pleasant. "You want to arrange the flowers so they have room to grow and get the sunlight they need, but you also need them to be close enough together to have the decor that you want for the room."

She heard a soft meow and looked down to see one of her two kittens batting at her ankle. With a smile she leaned over and picked up the little kitten playing with him before placing him down on the counters surface. The small kitten then proceeded to inspect everything that was on the counter almost knocking over a few items that Terra caught before they reached the floor.

"Ah, sorry," she said. It was best to ask before petting someone else's pet. (As if anyone could predict, much less stop, a cat biting or swatting someone.) "May I?"
no subject
It was good that Robin hadn't gotten angry at the curious cat since Terra was the one who placed him on the counter. She watched the black cat fondly as he swatted playfully at Robins fingers. Once she managed to pet him he melted like butter on the counter rolling over for belly rubs.
Terra could hear Tempest's voice in the back of her mind remembering what her moogle had told her about running a shop.
"Oh, I'm Terra. I forgot to mention that."

She looked up, blinking once, and then she smiled at Terra; there was a hint of sheepishness to the smile. She had forgotten to introduce herself when she came in. "I'm Robin!" she said. "Nice to meet you, Terra. You have a lovely shop!"
And a great cat, she thought.
"I think I'll go with the seeds," she said, after a moment's thought. "Growing them sounds like it would be fun."
no subject
"I do have some kittens in the back that need good homes if you are interested."
She gestures to a pen nestled in the back over the store where 8 kittens are climbing on top of each other and playing.

Including, strangely enough, her son from the future. Though she doubted that Morgan would mind.
no subject
"Is there anything else I can get you?"
Terra gently scooping the kitten up getting ready to put the tired ball of fuzz to bed.
no subject
"I think the seeds will be enough," she said. "I'll be sure to let you know how they're doing, though."
no subject
"And if you need any more help."
Terra flashed her a shy smile before moving closer to the back of the store where the kittens play things were set up.

She waved a hand once, leaving the money (and she preferred to not consider how much of her precious gil that was) on the counter. "Thanks again, Terra. I'll be seeing you!"
She picked up the two pots, carefully cradling the little bags with seeds in one hand. Then she turned and started walking for the exit.

What was it about silver hair? It pulled something deep inside of her that she couldn't understand. She thought to ask Tempest but the moogle most likely wouldn't know either.
