What: Shining Armor starts giving sleigh rides all across the area

Shining Armor was really excited to do this. There was nothing he liked better than a little ponyride across the powder and snow. And thus being said, he had brought out the Sleigh.

With no chocobo of his own, he had decided to pull it, and strong as he was, was able to make a short trip here and there, giving people rides. He's all over the area this year, and giving people rides was a joy and a half.

"All right, everyone ready? Here we go!"

And they're off once again!

"Two sisters sharing the light of the Day and the Night. That had to have been overwhelming for Celestia when she had to do it alone." Which made Sheena think her theory about the Princess somehow taking the ability from her sister in order to do so. "Did she know her sister would come back?"

Sheena chuckled warmly. "That's perfectly understandable, Shining. Somehow, I have the feeling you will, though."

The ninja nodded. "The only thing missing is the time before the dawn. Before Celestia raises the sun." It was an odd thing to say, but it also made a lot of sense.

"1000 years was the projection time, on the date of the Summer Sun Celebration," said Shining. "Most of the guards knew about the legend being real."

"I'll get over it. Now that he's better placed to earn friendships, I can rest easier." he said with a wry smile.

"Time before the dawn... Moondancer then. She's a pony who looks awfully a lot like my sister, but with a different color scheme."

"The projected time? You mean planned?" Had Celestia known all along what would happen on that day? Including Twilight's part in what happened to her sister? Someone being able to see the future wasn't knew to the ninja, but this? If it was true, Celestia was more powerful than Sheena thought.

"Rest easier, but not completely have your guard down, right?" Sheena chuckled. She knew that feeling all too well.

"Hmmm. That makes sense. Six ponies with names pertaining to the sky." There was something about that that was nagging at Sheena, but for the moment, she couldn't quite place it. It would come to her eventually. "Now...what does it mean?"

"Maybe. Princess Celestia was certain that the imprisonment would only last for about a thousand years, and she must have gotten the date from someone who was an authority on it." said Shining with a hum. "I know she has premotive dreams."

"Exactly," said Shining with a nod.

"Bucked if I know," said Shining with a shake of his head. "Some kind of major destiny maybe?"

"An authority? You mean like a fortune teller or someone who can read the stars?" She was being serious with her question. There were people like that on her world. Then there was the whole prophecy thing concerning them here. However, "But maybe she had the dream and someone told her what it meant." Not all dreams are literal.

"Yeah, I know someone like that, too. Although, I consider him a friend." Though, she'd deny ever saying it (at first) if Zelos ever found out.

The ninja chuckled softly. "Considering what you've told me, I'd believe it." Still, what kind of destiny was it?

"She probably had the precognitive dream though, and she's usually spot on." said Shining with a sigh.

Shining laughed a bit, nodding at the bit about her friend although he smiled at her statement about his sister. "She already became a princess, but she and her friends have saved Equestria more times than I can count."

"You know, I've always wondered about that. The future hasn't been written, but there are just some things that will happen regardless, right?" It made her wonder if Fate and Time broke the rules every so often to make it happen.

Oh, if he only knew about Zelos, but she wasn't about to name names. "Yeah, becoming a princess and saving a world are pretty big, but... Do you think she's where she should be right now? Or is there still a road stretching out before her?"

"Sometimes. She foresaw Tirek, but I don't think the outcome was ordained," said Shining.

"I think she's got a ways to go," said Shining honestly. "Achieving royalty status is just a start. Learning from it, that takes effort."

Sheena tapped her chin in thought. "She foresaw him, but didn't see the outcome? That sounds like it was one of those things that wasn't a sure thing. That had two possible solutions." This was something she had thought about: the "what if" things hadn't turned out the way they had back home? Everyone would be a Lifeless Being.

"Well," the ninja began with a chuckle. "Twilight is nothing like any princess I've ever met. She doesn't keep herself away and above others. I think that is a beautiful place to start."

"Yeah, Celestia's powerful but not all knowing." said Shining with a nod. "That's why she got defeated a few times."

"She can get a little obsessed with her work though," said Shining with a grin. "But that's my sister for you."

Again another silence before the ninja continued. "Either that, or she's seen both outcomes, but not how they come about." She sighed. "That's the problems with prophetic sight--it doesn't show you everything. Then again, I don't think I'd want that. It takes away freedom of choice in a way."

Brows knitting, she looked at him warily. "What do you mean by obsessed? She doesn't hug her work or anything, does she?" It was a valid question--as strange as it sounded.

"Never thought of it that way." Said Shining with a sigh. "Yeah."

"Well, she gets really deep into her research. Like super deep. Sometimes as kids, she would have to be bribed away from books WITH a book. If she could marry a book, Twilight would do it." said Shining with a chuckle. "So I'd imagine she hugs her work."

"It's kind of like a 'what if' situation. 'What if I had turned left instead of right?'" It was also a question Sheena has asked herself time and again over the course of many years. Sadly, most people don't ask it until too late, and you really can't go back in time.

Well...

Sheena had to laugh at Shining's description of his sister. "I know someone just like that," the ninja said between chuckles. "And a bribe of a book would do the same thing, I think. Unless it was a very important ruin or something."
