[ The Moogle leaves for a moment and returns shortly, with a book in hand. ]

One of the Professor gave me that book, Kupo... [ The Moogle hands her over a book-- The title reads "Energy of this Planet." It explains how the energy of the planet is constantly renewed and how sometimes when it emerges it turns into Crystals; which in turn return to the planet as they are infused into people who eventually die. The book is biased though, as it implies the energy is constantly renewed all while stating it comes from living beings. ]
