Chrom groaned, putting a hand to his head. "Gh... I'm all right. The spiky armor broke my fall." And almost a few other things. It wasn't the most comfortable thing to wear when falling down a pit, but at least he'd kept his mild, dry sense of humor.
He pushed himself up to his feet, taking an unsteady step as he turned his head skyward. There was Robin, looking worried. And the young man silhouetted by the sun was, he presumed, Morgan.
"Why in the gods' name is there a pit in the middle of the yard?"
No really, enlighten him. He needed to know, because there was an awful lot about today that wasn't making a lot of sense.
