Luke listened to the explanation quietly, only to find himself feeling a bit sheepish almost right away. A quick shake of his head was given as he let out a quiet sigh, "Hey, it's not that it bothers me. I just...wanted to know if it's something I should be using after your name, or something."
It was in that moment, he lifted a hand to briefly scratch at the side of his head, "You don't have to stop if it's what your used to. If there are more of these... honorifics, I'd like to learn about them. Besides... just because I'm not from your world, doesn't mean I can't use something you're used to."
He flashed a brief grin to emphasize how willing and eager he was, and then began walking a little more. It was as his eyes landed on the people in... apparent Crystal Stasis (he finally understood why they used that term...), his expression dimmed a lot. Pausing, he slowly turned his head to look around, "So, this is... what it looks like-"
If it seemed his words cut off rather abruptly, it was because they had. With widened eyes, he completely froze. If not for the lack of...crystallization of his body, it might seem he was one of the victims for a moment. His next exhale was uneven. In spite of the unsteady expression, he began walking towards one of the people that were frozen in time.
"G-... Guy," he muttered, and then...his eyes landed on another figure (a young woman with long hair, to be exact).
It was in that moment, he shook his head. Minato might have been able to hear the word 'no' muttered, though he was going to be moving back until his back touched a wall. He was holding back tears - whether it was because another person was there and watching, or not, wasn't going to be made obvious.
