As soon as he mentioned that he only just left the hospital, Rukia begrudgingly relaxed. That was the only part that had truly made her angry, thinking that he would be so uncaring as to leave her ignorant of his awakening.

He was right, this wasn't his fault. He hadn't been killed, he'd just been taken. Rukia sighed, pushing her fingers through her hair. "I see. Then I apologize for my rash actions." Renji was right about her, she did act too much like a man sometimes, swinging fists as a means of bonding.

"You were likely on your way to see Raven, then?" He'd already mentioned Yuffie and Flynn, so naturally the other member of his little guild was next on the list. "I won't detain you any longer."

Still, she glanced again at the dog. He looked intelligent. Was this the reason Yuri had gone up against the hamsters, to have his pet returned? Her curiosity could wait, though. She stepped aside with a small smile. "I'm glad to see you returned and well."
