[It's a very good job that Zelda spoke up for him when Luffy was so quick to assume. And he wasn't wrong yet; Sephiroth had been involved at a great level with the events of the previous weeks and months, yet not so much with spreading the sickness that claimed his 'life'. It couldn't have been real, after all, it couldn't have killed him really or he wouldn't be stood here to tell the tale. Just another fallacy engineered for other purposes.

He has a chance to turn heavy-lashed eyes down at Zelda's outstretched hand, inspecting it for a moment before raising his gaze to her face with a slightly abhorrent tone to his demeanor. Then turns to Ib as again they ask more questions. His patience is wearing thin; why didn't they understand? Were they all so dense as to be problematic? Would he have to make sure they didn't interfere? Or just to stop the questions which had the answers they simply couldn't comprehend?]

The ritual will put all things to rights. As they should have been thousands of years ago. You need to trust me, stay back, and do not interfere with this.
