With his senses on full guard, he felt Genesis' hand on his arm and the ease in her tone calmed him even though his lips had pulled back in a snarl. As much as he wanted to attack, his heavy breathing was enough to show that he was indeed a hunter.

As much of a monster as he appeared to be, he wasn't an indiscriminate killer, that much was certain. He recoiled just enough to look at Genesis and then backed down to turn around to move back toward the town.

Mogington looked as if he was about to pass out from how quick Penance was able to move. He didn't think that the lumbering body of his was that agile, but that was somewhat of an ambiguous matter. Angeal was always giving off the impression that he wasn't as quick as he appeared.
