Terra was having fun at the party. She had made sure to have at least one dance with Ven, excited to show her teacher what else she had learned since the first time they danced in her flower shop. She had danced with a few others too, moving across the floor in a whirlwind of crimson red fabric. She wasn’t wearing a traditional holiday outfit but instead wore the red ribbon dress she had for the auction. Terra didn’t see the need to make or spend money on a new dress when she had one that she adored already prepared. Tempest had added more ribbons for the holidays, thinking it might make the outfit more festive. The ribbon which laced down her back and pulled the fabric tight across her torso had been lengthened. Even tied in a bow it trailed down to Terra’s ankles. Scarlet red and emerald green ribbons zigzagged down her arms; starting at silver bangles around her forearm and then tying into small bows at her wrist. The layers of her skirt flared as she turned, her smiling expression moving back to her partner.

Her hair was in a rare state, draping across her shoulders in mint green curls while red ribbon laced within the green, pulling it back on either side to keep the loose strands from falling into her eyes. That didn’t stop the usual wisps that broken free tickling her cheeks and neck. As the song ended Terra took a break talking to those around her. Laughter erupted and she found her bright blue eyes moving over towards Sephiroth. They shimmered in the light of the decorations, while her cheeks colored a light pink from the breathlessness of her dance.

Minako pulled Terra’s gaze away giggling at the girls side while handing her something. Terra’s shoulder makes it impossible to see but it’s obvious that Minako is gesturing towards Sephiroth. With a curious nod and a smile Terra pulled away from the group and walked towards her roommate.

Her high heels clicked against the floor, they are the same shoes that had given Terra trouble before but there was no mistaking that she looked lovely in them. There were small ribbons around her ankles but it was nothing that she could trip over. Her legs were bare but with the dancing and excitement Terra didn’t have to worry about the cold that awaited them just outside the festive hall. When she approached her hands were behind her back, no doubt holding the item that she had been given from Minako. There was a slight moment of hesitation before Terra moved to stand at Sephiroth’s side.

“Are you having fun?” She knew that he had come because she asked him too but she wanted to make sure he was having fun nonetheless. After her question had been aired she paused suddenly wanting to play with her hair or pull the hem of her dress. “I have something for you.”
