With Rukia's help they were able to find a large enough hall in Christmas Town to throw the party. Zelda had set it for this day since a group of brave heroes were going to set out on the 24th. She had made sure that everything was perfect and of course everyone was invited. There were at least six decorated trees with polished silver and gold ornaments hanging from their branches. Scarlet red ribbons decorated the trees and tables with large bows tying the streaming trails together.

There was one very large tree at the halls center and there were a few presents around the bottom for those who needed a place to put gifts. At it's top was a large pointed star.

Champagne and small finger snacks were set on the tables and a part of the room was cleared for those who wanted to dance. Zelda was even able to hire a few people to play Christmas songs throughout the night. There was a table dedicated to sweets with cookies, cakes, small pies and other wonderful treats spread out for people to try.

Among the decorations was mistletoe. This little plant hung above the doorways waiting for any pair who happens to be caught in their hold. Most of the mistletoe was thanks to Minako but Zelda might have put up one sprig at the entrance to the party; it's all in good fun and kisses on the hand or cheek are perfectly acceptable.

[Yuna's lips part as a surprised yelp falls from her lips. She looks up and then begins to flush a bright scarlet. She hadn't even known it was there.]

Ah! No... I-

[She attempts to side step out of the way of the mistletoe but Fai's arms are still comfortably placed around her hips keeping them both under the little twig of green. They've kissed before but this is far more public than Yuna is used too.]

I didn't know it was there.

You know I wouldn't have minded if you knew or not.

[He had moved to let go, having gotten the reaction he wanted for the mean time.]

Still cute that you react like that though. It's adorable~

I know.

[Yuna turns to face him willing the light surprised flush from her cheeks. Surprises were hit or miss but she liked it when the surprise came from Fai because it always makes her smile.]

Maybe I don't want to kiss anyone else.

[She tries to tease in return though her efforts aren't as skilled as Fai's]

Oh really? Not even on the cheek?

[A sly smile passed by his lips, he could always tell she when she was teasing and sometimes it worked. It just made him smile to watch her try either way. His fingers lightly grazed her cheek as he leant forward to lightly kiss her, might as well get it out of the way anyway.]

Or are you the kind that will only kiss one person, which I don't mind, but then there are so many others who I am sure would like that.

[Heat lingers of her cheek as his lips lightly brush against her skin. Her smile appears to be fixed in place as she looks up at Fai.

She'll never not blush when he's near.]

Oh?

[She watches him curiously wondering if he'll explain on that thought.]

[Fai paused for a brief moment, as he is unsure of if he should explain further or not, but he thought he might as well be nice.]

What I mean is I am sure there are many people who like you in that way. I wouldn't be surprised.

[Yuna knows one person who liked her but she had more or less turned him down. Otherwise she can’t think of anyone in particular, at least anyone who likes her more than anyone else.]

Maybe but I don’t think that’s the case anymore.

[Her tone is soft and thoughtful as she turns to look up at Fai. Her gaze is steady and her eyes a little mismatched.]

Don't think? So there was at least.

[And that cat like grin is there for the moment his arms were slowly around the other again, holding her close for the mean time. At least for a couple of moments before he removed his arms, moving them to her own to hold her lightly.]

But we don't need to talk about that, we can talk about other things or even what you want to do now?

[Yuna is about to stutter through a response when she feels his arms wrap around her. Her cheeks tint slightly and she's completely distracted by his next question.]

What do you want to do? We can dance?

[They've already exchanged gifts and food and drink doesn't seem as exciting.]

Dancing is something I can do. if it means I stay close, of course.

[He can't help but chuckle slightly. Arms still around her for the moment, especially if they were going to dance.]

[Yuna smiles at his teasing comment and then guides him out to the dance floor. Of course the male is suppose to lead in the dance so she waits for him to start.]

I'm glad.

[Her smile widens.]

I think dancing is able to give you wings to fly.

[There was at least one thing, he knew how to dance at least and he knew how to lead as soon he held her hand and her waist and started to glide her across the floor.]

I would have never thought of dancing in such a way. I just saw it as a thing people do from time to time.

[Yuna's head tilts to the side as they move. One foot forward and another back, they turn and spin and Yuna can't help the smile that comes over her lips.]

Doesn't it though?

[She doesn't know if he'll see it as she does but dancing is like a freedom to move, either alone or with others. It's something that Yuna yearns for with every little fragment of her heart. She's always been following a path that she's chosen but it's only within the last few years she's been able to do it for herself.

To fly and be free. Is perhaps Yuna's greatest wish.]

I mean physically, we already know it's not true.

[He said that somewhat jokingly and would be very worried if that did ever happen. But as he stepped to twirl her out to simply twirl her back in, he was thinking on it more.]

But I guess it's a way to express ones self as well.

[Yuna pouts though it's short lived as he spins her out and then pulls her back. As she returns there is a bright smile on her lips.]

Yes.

[Dancing is definitely an expression.]

Do you want to express yourself?

I do that anyway, just not in dancing.

[He used his head when dancing, know what moves worked and what didn't depending on the song. But he knew he would look odd if he used it to express himself.]

Although if you said that a year or so ago it would have been a very different answer.

[Yuna assumes he expresses himself with baking the treats at his cafe or the way he teases lightly at her expense. She laughs softly and then shakes her head.]

What answer would you have given me a year ago?

[She's curious.]

Well it would depend where I was in my life. I would have probably laughed if off or... the same answer I guess.

[Another twirl as he could tell the song was soon going to end. Which meant so would to dance.]

[Yuna spins gracefully before coming back into Fai's arms. With that note the song ends and another song picks up and drifts across the dance floor.]

Thank you for the dance.

[She wonders about the pieces of Fai's past and life, only the man she loves is who he is now.]

I think we should get something to drink.

Drink it is. Alcoholic or non?

[He held her hand firmly as he guided her from the dance floor toward the table where the drinks were being kept, all the while thinking about what he will have.]

I'm going alcoholic myself.

[Yuna laughs softly as she looks over the drinks. She likes holding Fai's hand and she makes no motion to move away.]

Alcoholic sounds good.

[She'll probably drink what Fai does.]

If that's alright.

It's fine, you have whatever you want.

[He had to let go of her hand to be able to grab something for the both of them holding up the glass for her to take.]

This looks good.

[Yuna takes the glass with a warm smile before looking down at the food. For now she's just going to take a few cookies as a snack. The drink fills her mouth with a semi-sweet full flavor which goes well with the sugary hardness of the cookie.]

It's very good.

[She looks up at Fai, her mismatched gaze shining brightly.]

Company and food.

I thought it was just the food you were enjoying for the moment.

[He wouldn't blame her it was good, but yet at the same time he felt there could have been a tiny little tweek or something. But as to what that could have been he couldn't put his tongue on it. Taking a sip, he let the taste of the alcoholic linger on his tongue before swallowing.]

Though alcohol tastes better when it's with people you care about.

[Yuna smiles at him with a fond expression before shaking her head.]

It's not just the food but it is good.

[She takes a few cookies and her drink and steps away from the table letting others reach the food. Her eyes don't leave Fai though she isn't sure what might be lingering in his thoughts.]

It is.

[She agrees about the alcohol softly. It's why Yuna choose to drink with friends or make friends at bars.]
