Terra hadn’t meant to run into Minato. She had been absorbed into her own thoughts when she felt her shoulder lightly bump against his. They had both been heading outside at the same time which left the young Esper stunned for a few seconds. She blinked and then looked over at the masked boy standing next to her.
“Minato? I’m so sorry.”
Her voice was soft and she took a step back allowing him to step through the door first. Her long white dress swept the floor while as she moved.
Terra didn’t question Minato’s silence or attire; she didn’t question why he was here or why he had been heading outside. It wasn’t hard to tell that he wasn’t really enjoying himself either though Terra wasn’t sure she could bring him comfort. Her heart just wasn’t in the party and while she had been feeling joyous a few weeks before, that warmth had been sapped from her countenance.
