Damn, he'd just hit someone. Jaeha wasn't quite so callous and selfish that he'd just let that go. He did want to get out of here before any guards arrived (since this was surely some sort of trap from what little he could tell), but he was pretty sure he'd just mowed down a kid.
He grit his teeth. He shouldn't stop, couldn't afford to. But he'd hit that child hard enough to send him flying.
His shoulders hunched. Well, if the guards came, he was sure he could still kick them into next week, even without the strength of his Dragon's leg. He picked up Ales by the collar to set him on his feet, one hand braced on his chest to support him.
