"Year and a half?" Aya repeats, almost checking to make sure she heard correctly, if not for the fact that she's recently spoken to someone who said to have been there for about a whole year. "I'll admit, I was hoping that my stay wouldn't be nearly that long."
She isn't whining or complaining, though. Aya isn't one to turn her back on trouble, even if it meant trouble for her. It was this world that was in some sort of peril, though. If she was brought here for a reason, she'd like to think that she was meant to stay here for however long it took to figure things out.
