This wasn't the first time Rufus heard these kind of comments directed at him. Probably won't be the last, either. Therefore, it was easy to shrug them off and it wasn't like Yuffie was really wrong. He was an asshole, Rufus had no problems accepting that.

"I don't see the problem here. You asked a question and I truthfully answered it."

Too bad he sounded the same, even if he was lying. Perhaps the only exception was when he talked to the Turks and wasn't as much of a jerk then.
