We are off to see the Crystal Tree!

It's assumed that Terra posted up a help wanted for the heroes who don't know her to see if they want to come along. Settings will be described in top posts to keep thing organized!

[Terra hesitated as if reaching a crossroad. She looked at Sheena and inside of her a burning warmth began to flower and take root. She doesn't want to lose a friend.]

I don't know. [She answers honestly.] I feel it Sheena. I love Albel just as I do Sephiroth... it isn't fair but I can't stop the way I feel...

[She hates it, she hates hurting her friends.]

I thought it might go away... but I remember it and I feel it... [There is always the chance that it isn't real however Terra doesn't know. Her experiance with emotions is limited.]

It isn't... I shouldn't be... but... [She looks up at Sheena feeling tears rise to the corner of her eyes.] I don't want to lose you as a friend. I don't know what to do...

[Albel swallowed. He should leave. He should have left awhile ago, though he doesn't entirely regret hearing what he heard. But if they should find him now, just before their friendship was repaired, then he would have interfered with their lives again. He would be at fault for hurting them again. And while he wouldn't care about anyone else... it was Terra. And, now, Sheena had become important too.]

[He pushed back from the tree and used Smoke Bomb to vanish, get as much distance as he could from the spot. Hopefully not even the smoke would be seen in the dark.]

[ Sheena doesn't want to lose her friends, either. She's been through it before, and well, it sucks. And to possibly lose someone over a future that may or may not come about?

That would be beyond stupid on Sheena's part.

Giving her a sad, understanding smile, the ninja nods. ]

I know you do; I do, too--about Albel. [ But is real? She doesn't know. The here and now, however... ] Terra, have you ever told Sephiroth that you love him? I don't mean in the vision; I mean before now. [ Perhaps saying those words to him will help Terra get through this.

Smiling gently, Sheena tightens her hold briefly. ]

Like I said, this is all very confusing, but there's one thing I know: All we can do is live our lives and take one day at a time. [ Her smile grows. ] If anything, I think this just might make our friendship stronger.

[ For they're standing together to face a "what if" that had destroyed something they both don't want to let go of. ]

I told him I liked him... [She pauses.] At the new years party.

[She still remembers the night, she had been so nervous and yet he accepted how she felt and felt the same way. She wants that night back but she doesn't know if she should be with one person when having feelings for another.

Terra looks down at her fingers.]

We haven't really spoken since the vision.

[Living together made that a little awkward. They have their usual small talk but Sephiroth always knows when Terra is holding something back.]

That's a start. [ Sheena smiles. ] But I think you should tell him the rest. That you love him.

[ Is it possible that's been part of the problem? She doesn't know Terra's memories, so she has no clue if the other woman remembers ever telling Sephiroth those words. And she may have feelings for another, but she hadn't really lived through that future yet as she had the real past with Sephiroth.

Placing her hands on Terra's shoulders, she squeezes gently. ]

I...think you might want to do that. I think it will help.

[ Probably a lot more than Sheena can give right now. ]

[Terra nods however she still feels unsure.]

I'll try.

[It's all she can promise right now.]

[ Sheena smiles gently. From what she recalls, when Terra promises to try to do something; she does. ]

That's all I ask, Terra. That's all anyone can ask.

[ She gives the woman a hug. ]

Do you want to be alone some more? Or are you ready to head back?

[Terra wraps her around around Sheena in return before pulling away from the hug. She isn't a huggy person but it feels nice.]

Ah... yes.

[ Sheena gives her a smile. ]

If you're ready to go, just lead the way. I'll stay in the rear. After all, I am on guard duty.
