Cloud had the same thought as Sparks as he chased the thief into the trees. Catching Spark's eye he gave him a nod before letting Zack cut his own path. There was no need to oversteer here. He wasn't using his Chocobo Knight job but he trusted his companion enough to make the decisions himself.
