Vitals were good and strong; aside from the occasional twitching that came from overtaxed muscles which foretold the level of his exhaustion, Sephiroth just seemed to have reached a wall that he couldn't just continue forwards through without his body literally forcing the sleep issue.
It had been perhaps three or four checks in that Lucrecia thought she might have noticed a movement out of the corner of her eye. Perhaps it had been an eyelid twitch, or a muscle spasm of some sort, but as she placed the new glass down there was a more definitive noise which suggested movement.
By the time she looked back again, too small slivers of vivid green were peering down himself, directly at her. The space between Sephiroth's fine silver eyebrows creased a little in sleepy confusion as if he didn't know he were really awake yet or not.
"I-it's you..." He mummered softly, only the depth to the chords of his voice making the words comprehensible.
