Oh he of little faith--really, one of these days Lydia needs to talk to him about her adventures. As much as she's going in to battle, she has faith in Sephiroth. Much like she had faith, during her adventures in the Neitherworld, in Beetlejuice to help her out if she got in trouble.

She'd been careful with her choices of path, and was able to dodge and weave well, avoiding tripping up. Making sure to keep herself in the Golem's line of sight and its attention on her. Quick and agile, and Lydia was showing no hesitation or fear as she headed towards the small clearing. It wouldn't be long before they arrived at the small cleared area with only taller trees and some undergrowth.
