Sephiroth intuitively picked up on Lydia's not-quite-so-genuine smile almost immediately. He often tried to smile at others in order to reassure them even if he might be quite the opposite beneath the surface.

He looked down on the ground where he'd automatically rested Masamune once he'd stopped to catch his breath. The long sword was very much an extension of his own arm given how long he's been wielding it; nevertheless he appreciates how Lydia might feel. There was really only one thing for it-

"Well then we'll just have to go back and find it." There wasn't even a question for it, in Sephiroth's mind. He'd do exactly the same if he'd -gods forbid- ever dropped his own.

They knew that the mandragora were there now, this -should- be doable.
