Yard Sales and Motorbikes
Who: Lydia Deetz (deadlyvu) and OPEN!
Where: Around Aquares Ixen and the Calm Plains
When: Latter part of February (post Feb 21st)
Summary: Lydia's back out and about in town, and learning to ride a motorcycle too.

Yard Sale
Well, while Lydia'd been trying to avoid recognizing her depression over the loss of her friends, she'd thrown herself full-tilt into a hobby that wasn't sketching. Clothes-making. Which now left her with not a lot of space... There were things she absolutely wanted to keep. Getting rid of the others though? She did what most American families do--she decided to hold a Yard Sale.
Betel-Po had helped her cart some things out kind of away from the house, but to a clear spot near a park in the residential district. There wasn't much, but that was alright. Two make-shift Clothing 'racks' with various items on them. A lot of dresses and a coat or two, and jackets. An umbrella or two, small dolls, and jewelry and accessories.
Clearly she'd thrown herself into her hobby full tilt. She has some of her sketches of various scenes from around Aquares Ixen and Trano Golsaucia. Mostly of people as she'd done some people watching. She and Betel-po have priced things but are open to haggling, and are settled on chairs with a picnic basket and her messenger bag. She has a sketch-pad with her, and there's a large hand painted and lettered "Yard Sale" sign propped up near her works.
[OOC: The above links are suggestions. Lydia's style definitely trends towards creepy and cute, and clothing and other things she makes trends towards this. If it'd fit in a Tim Burton movie, it's perfect. Feel free to make up some of your own stuff, as the above are all examples. Most items are priced reasonably although the lowest she's got for small accessories is 150 gil.]
Calm Plains and Outskirts of the City
As much as Lydia used her bicycles (both of them, as she'd been getting used to Manami's racing bike), she'd had a motorbike left to her by Ms. Olivier. The younger teen (although it had started Lydia to realize she was 15, or close enough to it now) felt her teacher would rather she learned to use it. It wasn't as if she hadn't ridden one before--she'd even been in a gang or two, in the Neitherworld.
But in Crystallis? This would be new. Ms. Olivier, that is General Olivier Armstrong, was also much taller than Lydia. Didn't mean that she was any less determined to learn to ride it. Betel-Po had helped her take it to the outskirts of the city, and along the plains, where at least she'd do less damage to other people.
Besides, Lydia was a Vampire--she'd regenerate.
If anyone wants to come investigate the noise, and come help, there is a 15 year old perky-goth Hero of Light trying to ride a motorbike with varying levels of success.
[OOC: The bike is a bit too big for her--once Lydia gets a growth-spurt in height, she won't be so bad off. Despite that, she clearly knows what she's doing at least in theory. Feel free to come help.]
