The black-haired pirate spins his head around to see the gentleman standing in the doorway. He looked as cool as ever, collected, smiling with that assurance that made Luffy's insides tingle with the sort of excitement that came from seeing a dear old friend.
He leaps off of the table on which he'd been entombed, landing on both feet as his hands settle on his hips. Luffy resembles Peter Pan more than the feisty pirate he had been known for being. The energy he exhibits are evidence of a long-deserved rest, though it does not stop his stomach from visibly rumbling.
"Oi! Jack! How long was I out?! I don't know what this brunch thing is, but if they have food, we need to move!"
