[Keiko doesn't hate Santa. She hates his perverted jokes, sure, and maybe he's deserved more than a few of her head-snapping slaps if he took it a little too far. But he's still a good guy. Besides, it's hard not to get close to the people she's traveled with for seven months, surviving and fighting for their lives.]
[She hadn't seen him since that horrible day. She didn't even know if he was still alive. Given that he was nowhere to be found at all, Keiko had assumed the worst, and it made her feel awful. She should have been nicer. Maybe he didn't deserve all of those slaps.]
[Then she sees him, sitting in the temple without his jacket, facing the crystal. And swearing at it. That's Santa, all right. Delighted and vastly relieved, Keiko rushes forward.]
Santa! Are you all right?
[The expression on his face says something is eating at him, but he's alive. She's so glad!]
