"Tables break." He wasn't sure why he was helping this person. Perhaps it was the curiosity of it all. He did find himself idly curious as to why this person's memories were so fragmented. Maybe he died and was reconstructed somehow. It wasn't something out of the realm of Kadaj's possibility, after all.

Maybe he just doesn't remember that, either. If that were true, it would open up a whole new realm of possibilities.

If this Zelda cared about him, she was probably wondering where he was, anyway. Madoka would have been worried of Kadaj had simply disappeared.
