Yuffie just shrugged, she didn’t expect Vincent to say anything about it. Unlike others she’s met he saw her as herself. Not the princess of Wutai or whatever people might perceive her as. It was one of the things she liked about Vincent, something that made him different.

“Well do you know what war does to a nation? They spend years trying to recover and they are then under the control of those who won.” Which in this case was sadly ShinRa. “They made our economy tank so that they could control Wutai.”

Yuffie sighed taking a very long drink of her beer. “He’ll probably see that I marry someone who can bring stability or whatever the people of Wutai need…” She wasn’t looking forward to it. As bratty as Yuffie was she had always wanted to fall in love.
