Maybe she were just shy, he figured as Sephiroth watched Yuna slip away from their conversation for a few moments. He wasn't so rude as to search for her gaze, knowing for a fact that he was wont to do the same more often than he'd ever admit. It left an inevitable awkwardness between the two of them and all he could do was watch Spencer instead while he supposed he'd best get back to his workout now.

Only when she was ready did he turn his head back in her direction again. A sharp nod which bounced bangs some on either side of his face. Even if he was worried that perhaps he'd upset her, the strain to her voice could only be a sign of that.

"Don't mention it." Yet, he couldn't bring himself to apologize for upsetting her. His brutal sharpness of manner had a habit of doing that but sympathy didn't come easily from the tall SOLDIER. He stated the facts, and each Hero had to find their way of coming to terms with them. He shifted a little on the spot and then extended a hand in her direction; the very least he could so was introduce himself, whatever comfort in knowing anothers name that she'd be able to take from that.

"I'm Sephiroth. It's nice to meet you Yunie." Cue one partly-encouraging smile, even if it was somewhat lackluster.
