Superior creation- what an odd way to word what Sephiroth had no choice but to assume was some attempt at a compliment. Or was it? Sephiroth knew of the existence of Project-G (for 'Genesis') already, after he had discovered Hollander's makeshift laboratory in the guts of the Sector 5 Mako Reactor. But the wayward scientist had turned up -as expected- before Sephiroth had had much of a chance to pour through all the details on the reports discovered. One of the many things he'd hoped to have done later, once the Company had retrieved them all for it's archives.

He kept his expressions on the lower-tone, too controlled by far to allow even the slightest slip into how Genesis' words irked him or sparked at his suspicion even further. It was noted, -however- Genesis did seem now much older than Sephiroth remembered him. Perhaps it was just a change in his attitude though? The lines weren't all that defined at all.

Better to focus on that, than the monster he had changed into last month. Sephiroth 'hmph'd audibly and dropped his gaze when Genesis asked the question. He sternly kept his thoughts as far away from that night as possible. The guilt on it's own was almost too much for him to bear, let alone if he considered how he had felt during the battle itself, how his mutations hadn't felt all that foreign when they should have.

"I daresay there are no experiences you could offer that would compare to it." He breathed out with the words, slowly, taking his time forming the words to answer Genesis with. Sephiroth didn't want to talk about it, and for the most part succeeds in projecting the impression that he's over all it. Moved on. Wasn't his problem. This is what they'd all been telling him after all and it worked to use that as a deflection.
