Dancing All Night
Who: Everyone
What: A slumber party at the Observatory so the Heroes can experience something nice for once.
Where: Old Observatory
When: Night of May 12th - Morning of May 13th
Warnings: If your character comes, there's a huge change they'll catch the sickness from someone else who's infected but doesn't show the symptoms. Duster will have many regrets in the future.
[All those that had been invited to the Observatory tonight would see all the windows on the bottom floors lit up before sundown. Duster and Zelda had spent most of today setting up bedding and rearranging the furniture in preparation, and then Duster had to run back home to change into his new suit.
There were multiple rooms with lights set up. One has a corner turned into a makeshift stage where musicians could perform. Two had tables of food. Several rooms were left alone for partygoers to have private moments (Tamekichi suggested that). There was also a box of beer bottles as a sad attempt at a bar, with an empty bottle marking the area where party games were to be played, Spin the Bottle included (all that was Tamekichi's suggestion, too).
Duster greets the arrivals at the door with a soft smile, wearing a periwinkle suit, a white dress shirt, a red shit, and black dress shoes.]
Welcome to Club Ixen! It's time we had some fun.

Truth or Dare - OTA
[Akane sits comfortably with her legs tucked to the side, seemingly not worried at all about her choice. Maybe a touch shy? Either way, she's not picky about truths or dares, but maybe choosing truth won't give her brother a huge heart attack like 'dare' might.]
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
probably. Instead, he glares at everyone else in the circle, just daring them to ask Akane something bad or embarrassing.]no subject
What about you?

[He thinks it over. He doesn't wanna hear anything about her beloved 'Jumpy', because gross. But in terms of more recent developments...]
How do you feel about your new housemates? [Aoi is taking notes in case he needs to knock anyone out and send them into a puzzle room.]
no subject
Well, I don't know them very well yet, to be honest. I haven't even met all of them. I guess they're nice, none of them seem upset at having a girl around the house. And one has white hair like you!
[Her shoulders hitch.]
Sorry. There aren't very many interesting things to say just yet!
no subject
Ok...well, if they're ever not nice, you should tell...someone. [Tell your big brother so he can destroy them, he means. He's just not gonna say it in front of a circle of people.]
no subject
Aoi, be nice. We're all stuck in this place together, we'll have a much harder time figuring this out if we're too busy fighting each other.
[No more murder games!
Unless it's Tuesday!]no subject
Who said anything about a fight?
[He's not planning on fighting someone who messes with Akane. He's planning on breaking into their house, drugging them unconscious, and just burying them. It's not violent. It's practically humane.]
Nice, my ass. Heroes don't gotta be 'nice'. They just gotta get shit done.
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
What do you consider your most embarrassing moment?
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
[She props her fist beneath her chin, her brow wrinkling as she casts her memories back.]
--Oh, I know! Back when I was in third grade, there was a rumor going around that the auditorium was haunted. They said a high schooler went in there, and a ghost attacked her. She tried to run away, but all of the instruments from the band piled up against the door so she couldn't escape, and then the ghost killed her.
[She quickly waves her hand back and forth as if to erase what she'd just said.]
Of course it was just a rumor, but it was so scary that I fervently believed it. And you know how sometimes when you're outside and you look at the sun, it burns a little bit of imprint so that you see a sun-sized spot when you're indoors? Well, I went back into the school after recess and entered the classroom, which was dark because the teacher had stepped out. I saw that sunspot, so I started screaming and screaming and told everyone that the ghost was coming after us. A lot of kids panicked and started crying, and I got sent home early for being a troublemaker.
[She giggles. Poor Aoi. He'd had to deal with a very guilty little sister that day, who was STILL convinced that she'd seen a ghost for sure and was upset that no one believed her.]
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
It's an immense relief to hear that was just a rumour, and she relaxes back into her pillows.]
It's made for an exciting story, at least! Did the others think any differently of you afterwards?
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
[Akane laughs, holding a hand to her mouth with a good-natured smile.]
Our class was pretty tightly knit, and we forgot all about it pretty quickly. The only reason I remembered was because I was so embarrassed at being sent to the principal's office. It probably caused a lot of trouble for my brother.
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
[she brightens up, tail rising.]
You have a brother? What's he like?
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
[Akane laces her fingers together, smiling peacefully.]
I probably shouldn't say, because it's not my turn to tell a Truth. But he's a wonderful person. He took really good care of me all my life, and even when things got really hard for us, he never complained or told me that he resented me. I rely on him for so much.
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
He sounds like a very good sibling to have, then. You sound very close.
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
[Her eyes twinkle as if she were thinking about some secret joke. Probably because she is.]
I couldn't ask for a better brother, and that's the truth.
Re: Truth or Dare - OTA
[she tilts her head, not quite catching it. He was looking after her, so they must have been together… So why put it like that?]
I'm glad to hear it. Family should look after each other.
Now… I believe it's your turn to ask me something, isn't it?
