Who: Twilight Sparkle and YOU
What: Unnerved by Palitutu's letter, Twilight attempts to piece things together
When: Backdated to May 18th
Where: Palitutu's lab
Warnings: Pony on the verge of a breakdown? Also, theory-crafting
If there was one thing Twilight hated, it was not being able to make sense of something. It drove her nuts, always had. Pinkie Pie was one thing, but Palitutu was proving to be another. Palitutu wasn't like the other antagonists she faced back home; she had a reason for her actions, but because she wasn't spilling and was more intent on belittling them because "reasons", Twilight couldn't make sense of anything.
Thus, falling back to the laboratory, Twilight began putting together everything they knew about Palitutu and her actions. Chalkboards, whiteboards, papers - whatever she could use, she'd grab them and use them to write out everything.
They knew that Palitutu caused the destruction of Aqures Tosf by allowing an invasion to strike, allowing the Crystal of Fire to gather souls and explode in a burst of energy and that one of their own was put in crystal Stasis first before everyone else because he tried to attack her.
She was the one who helped them out for that first year, was just as cold and aloof as she was now. She made a note stating that attempts to regain their powers would have taken "two years" to complete. Another note is added stated that the Ancients sealed away their powers to prevent revolt. A third note is added to the first note as she came to realize that two years (in theory) would have been long enough for the Calamity to take over. These bits started to worry the princess.
They knew that she had taken control of Omega WEAPON after the Heroes had taken possession of it and used it to wreck Esdham's Army and destroy District Six, the Magitek Research Facility.
They learned from others that she had the ability to shut off Jobs within the Heroes and that she would destroy a town if they didn't leave her be. She was planning to do the same to this town as well if they didn't come to her on the day she decided.
They learned from the Sage that she had learned the truth of everything from him and was forced by Garland to reveal them to him.
They learned from the Heroes who were on the Continent of Ruin that Palitutu came after them and attacked them. She also added notes about their crystals - red meant alien, blue meant connected to Crystallis, black was corrupted/able to talk to those in the Interdimensional Rift and white was unknown
At this point, Twilight began to look over her notes and realized something completely and utterly off about them. The last two notes about the Sage and about attacking those on the Continent. This didn't make sense at all! How could Palitutu come to meet the Sage and attack those on the Continent of Ruin without some aid to get through the portal? Then, there was the bits about being able to shut off their Jobs as no one else had the ability to do so!
The more Twilight thought about all of this - the coincidences, the oddities, the history revealed in Palitutu's notes, the more that Twilight came to one frightening conclusion about Palitutu, which she wrote at the bottom :
