Summary: Catch-all log for the Cluedo Event. If you would like to pursue investigations and play out the fall-out of the Cluedo events, this is the post for you. Please refer to the second OOC Post for the setting and what there is to be played. Another Log will be posted at a later date to play the murders.

"A rabbit?" Ramza repeated. How strange for Rukia to come upon one before the moment of her death. She was so fond of them. He hoped they were not secretly malicious creatures or bad omens.

"So, you think it could be related to what happened then?" He had not heard much about what had happened to the other groups of Heroes while he had been in the bizarre play. "We did not know the river was the scene of the murder. You were found in the Residential District."

As far as he had heard from the other investigators, no one had any idea why the bodies had been moved. "What about cause of death? The...locals who were killed died from wounds inflicted by rocks, but we could not determine causes for the Heroes. The bodies crystallized before we found them."

Rukia nodded her head. "I'm not entirely positive, but I don't believe it was a coincidence either. I do like rabbits, but only those who know me well could say this." It wasn't as if she made a habit of loudly announcing her preferences wherever she went.

...Then again, someone had posted to the quest board last Christmas that she favored them, so who knew?

She blanched, her mouth twisting into displeasure to hear that her corpse had been dumped into a public place like that where even children could see. How thoughtless and crude. "My housemates were not upset with this, I hope?" She picked up the gelatin cup and spoon again, fumbling with it in an attempt to figure out basic packaging.

"Then, is is possible that someone who knows you had a hand in your murder?" It was an unpleasant thought, but that seemed the logical conclusion. Unless Rukia had not been as subtle with her rabbit-love as she thought, what with those military reports and all.

"Not that we suspect anyone at this time. Your housemates, and everyone else, of course, were very worried about you. I do not think any of them would wish you harm."

"I suppose so," Rukia conceded. "But it seems unlikely. I know of no one who dislikes me so intensely as to conduct my murder. It serves little purpose, as we do awaken a short time later." She settled the stuffed rabbit on her lap and folded her arms. "So why go to the effort at all? It makes little sense."

His second remark stirred her out of her reverie, and she blinked for a moment before lowering her head contritely. Naturally she hadn't intended to cause worry to anyone, but it was somewhat touching to think that even her temporary death would have an effect on anyone at all. It was little more than an unplanned absence, so why worry? Why court sadness?

"Then I should go to see them personally," she concluded. "Once we've finished our business and the staff sees fit to release me."

Ramza shakes his head. "I do not know. Perhaps the act of murder, or the displaying of the bodies, was what was important to the murderer, rather than the permanence of the act itself."

He would think that perhaps the cilivians were the true target, and the Heroes a distraction, but there had been Hero murders with no locals added to their number.

"I think that would be for the best. I doubt the healers will need to keep you long if you are eager to return home." Her body had fully healed, after all. Now it was just her emotional well-being that needed tending, and her friends could provide that more surely than the white mages could.

"A bigger picture, then," Rukia frowned. This was serious. It was also somewhat reminiscent of Aizen's tactics, focusing people's attentions on one serious matter so he could work toward a hidden goal undisturbed. It was smart, and that's what made it scary. Dumb criminals and monsters were never quite as dangerous as the ones with a degree of intelligence.

"I'd like to assist with the investigation, then, if I am able. I'd like to know who's ultimately responsible, and what their true goals are. Until we know these things, our efforts aren't going to bear much fruit."
