Summary: Catch-all log for the Cluedo Event. If you would like to pursue investigations and play out the fall-out of the Cluedo events, this is the post for you. Please refer to the second OOC Post for the setting and what there is to be played. Another Log will be posted at a later date to play the murders.

"This world has enough dangerous relics as it is. If there's something here that's equivalent to the Pieces of Eden, we're in even more trouble."

Saori frowned and rubbed the back of her neck at Mary's suggestion. She looked straight up at the ceiling, letting the room go silent for a minute. Thankfully they weren't going to send her to jail immediately since charges weren't filed. Yet. She would stay in a holding cell or this interrogation room for at least a day or so and within Saori's sights. They would be a vast improvement over the hell of a prison Saori imagined from the written record of Mary's final days. When the redhead finally stopped her staring contest with the ceiling, she gave a resigned sigh, stood up and walked just past Mary. Though her back was towards the pirate, she put her hand over hers.

"As much as I've been fighting against the idea of you being held here...I don't think I could succeed in talking you out of this. I'm sure Sparks and the others will appreciate your cooperation though. I will keep you in touch and make sure Bonny cooperates. You have my word that I'll get your name cleared soon enough."

"I suppose all worlds have their dangerous treasures. It'd be foolish, prideful to assume my world was the only one like it. But it seems that Ancient races seem to be terribly shortsighted with their possessions. I don't imagine their civilizations passed peacefully, and that's why everyone else stumbles over their messes."

She shrugged, half laughing at the absurdity of the discussion.

"But you're right. You're not going to talk me out of this. I'm at the disadvantage here, but I also trust in Sparks and the others that I won't be put to trial unfairly. This isn't like the last time. Don't worry." She reached across the table, clasping hands with Saori, "I'll be fine. This is just to make sure everyone knows I have nothing to hide...but if I get so much as a cold I'm going to blame you."

She let her fingers intertwine with Mary's. "Then I'll accept the responsibility of nursing you when this all over," Saori shook her but cracked a small smile.

"I'm pretty sure the others are going to get suspicious with me being around you a lot if they haven't figured things out already. Wouldn't surprise me if they ask for my resignation when this is over. I'll keep an eye out on Reno and Malik's condition too. Also there's something I want to ask you after we close this case. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to ask now."

Mary couldn't help but smile at the offer. She could stifle the chuckle, but her lips still curled to show her amusement. "I'm sure most folk aren't so thick not to notice. Perhaps not Sparks, but some others must realize for sure. Do what you have to do, just make sure you feel satisfied when it's over. I don't want you making sacrifices of your own happiness for my sake."

Something to ask her? Curious. Something to look forward to once this storm has passed then. "That's a lot of promises you're making me. I'm going to hold you to them." She gave Saori's hands one more squeeze before sitting back. As her lover had said, this wasn't the time. But she could look forward to when it would be again.
