Summary: Catch-all log for the Cluedo Event. If you would like to pursue investigations and play out the fall-out of the Cluedo events, this is the post for you. Please refer to the second OOC Post for the setting and what there is to be played. Another Log will be posted at a later date to play the murders.

So was Rukia, but she had no reason to worry him further by regaling him with the adventures of being impaled on a trident, or on someone's hand punching clean through her gut. That was unimportant now. What mattered is that he was worried enough about her that he'd chosen to wait here for her to awaken, and she was very touched.

"I'm glad to hear you're capable of caring for yourself like a proper adult," she smirked, smoothing her ruffled hair back down into place. "I doubt Repede would have tolerated you curling up into a ball and weeping inconsolably over my demise."

Soul reapers were allowed to have a mildly grim sense of humor about death, especially their own, so damn it she was going to keep things light.

Rising to her feet, she extended a hand to Yuri to draw him up off of the floor. "I would appreciate an update on our current situation. Has the murderer been apprehended? Is the city in any danger?"

It was the the little things that he did that had some meaning. Sometimes, Yuri didn't even know that these habits were good or bad. He's just happy to see her usual expression alive and well. He can't forget the memory of what happened. He only heard it from the witnesses but he was clearly upset with the whole ordeal. At least enough to where he did see red for some time if not for the help he got to calm down.

"You shouldn't expect any less of me Shorty. You know I'm pretty darn capable of taking care of myself. I got to set the examples for the young ones right?"

He replied, giving her a brief grin to her smirk. He wouldn't want her to worry about him, even if some of his words weren't all true. He might have slipped once or twice but he made sure he took care of himself as much as he could. There was nothing else he could do at that point. It was still fresh and frustrating to him that he couldn't do anything to help her.

"Seemed like all the murders were Heroes of Light of some sort. Unfortunately, we can't really apprehend them due to the fact that they weren't exactly right in the mind when it happened. Flynn said it was as if someone was controlling his mind and every move. He wanted me to turn him in for hiding bodies, Shorty. That's not something Flynn'd do. As for danger, I've patrolled and I haven't seen much out of hand yet."

Flynn wanted to turn himself in for...? Rukia peered at Yuri, her expression flat for several long seconds. Then her head drooped as she heaved a sigh. "That sounds like something Flynn would do," she grumbled fondly. She couldn't think of anyone more squeaky clean than the blonde knight. In a way, he was an admirable young man, and she respected that.

But her ideals had more in common with Yuri than anyone else. It was a shame that she was ignorant of just how much he'd worried for her, especially if he was neglecting his own needs out of grief. That wasn't something she was accustomed to seeing in others.

As far as she knew, he seemed happy and casual, so she smiled right back at him (instead of jump kicking him in the face like she would have if she thought he was depressed). "Have you eaten?" she asked, adjusting the wrist clasps of her gloves before settling her hands on her hips. "I should find Raven soon, but if you've been skipping meals, we should remedy that first." Not that she suspected he actually was.

Was he skipping meals??? Did Rukia need to mom at him?! DID SHE?

Yuri meant the context of Flynn stating he had helped hide bodies of dead people was not typical of him. What was typical was what Rukia said-- he was very honest and kind for his own good and would turn himself in even though he knew it wasn't his fault. That's just Flynn for you. He didn't really try to explain it anymore than he could. It's too much work right now for him. Flynn was pretty clean from what Yuri knows. He knew that the blood that was on his hands were not because he did it willingly.

In any case, the topic was about Rukia and not Flynn. Yuri dropped it after that as he laughed, "Yeah but that's not what I was referring to. He's not the type to help hide dead bodies. He'd be trying to prevent them if anything."

He leaves it at that as she shakes his head. He agreed with Rukia on a lot of things too and he didn't want her to know so he didn't want to mention all the grimy details. He'll keep those thoughts to himself. Let Rukia not think and worry about him since she should be worried about herself.

"Not yet, but if you're hungry, we can grab something to eat, on me."

He replied pushing off the wall and walking towards the exit.

"I haven't been skipping anything. You worry too much about my well being sometimes, Shorty. The old man deserves the concerns more than me. Don't you want to have dinner with him or something?"

He mused giving her a teasing grin as he thought about the two of them.

"Naturally, I do," Rukia blinked. Why wouldn't she want to eat dinner with Raven? But the fact of the matter was, Yuri was here. He was the worried one. Raven often went into crystal stasis, so she figured he wasn't here because he'd been through that a few times before. Clearly he was content to wait, secure in the knowledge that she'd come back eventually.

"But it's time for lunch, not dinner, correct?" She folded her arms with a confident smirk. "Besides, you're treating. I'm not going to turn down a free meal with my dear friend Yuri." Her grin widened as she gave his arm a couple of teasing taps with her knuckle. As he moved toward the exit, Rukia turned to follow while sneaking in another skritch to the back of Repede's ear.

While they ate, they could discuss the present state of the city and what their next steps should be. She'd rested long enough, her duties should not be ignored for one moment longer than absolutely necessary.

"Then let's get going and grab something to eat. I can fill you in on the stuff you missed aside the obvious things."

He replied shrugging some. Of course, she wouldn't get it but Yuri sure did get his own comments. He'll just leave it at that. She'll eventually figure out what he meant by that. For now he'll just let her get away with it and have her mull on it. He's not really into trying to explain it without embarrassing her and Raven in the same sentence.

"Whatever meal of the day it happens to be. I lost track. Doesn't matter right? It's clearly time to eat," he mused with a chuckle from his mouth. He wasn't going to deny that he's treating her. He knows he hasn't been keeping track of time when it came to sticking around here a bit too long on his end.

"Oh yeah? Well I suppose I'm honored that you feel the way you do, Shorty. Glad to have you back and kicking."

He'll ruffle her head som emore as she grinned from ear to ear. He swayed a little with touch but that was that. Repede catches her but he knows who she is by now and so he lets her do what she wants normally until he feels like he's done with her. Repede started trotting after them silently. They could do all of that really. Yuri felt like they were overdue for a chat anyway.
