Tribe? Uh, I dunno if you'd call us that. We were just a small backwater town. Like I said, you could work as a trader or a mountain guide, or you could get a job with the company that was providing us with power and vehicles. ShinRa had a lot of places under their umbrella that way. Most towns were nothing without a Mako Reactor since we all depended on them. And then there was Wutai I guess. They fought back against Shinra, and Sephiroth became famous during the war. I joined up as everything was winding down.
[A large organization waging war against those who stood against them and every small town containing a structure run by that organization. That probably sounds a bit familiar to Rikku.]
But I mean, with all the monsters in the mountains, and then just the equipment in the Reactor there were a lot of ways someone could get hurt working there. But the money was good, or at least people would rather work there than the other stuff or leave town entirely.
[Listening to Rikku's assessment he leans back, looking up at the armor as it looms over them. The giant form of it still looks sinister painted red as it is. It reminds him a bit of a legend he heard around Midgar when he was on patrol one night.]
