The robes she wore rippled, as if caught in a light breeze, before she put a hand against her chest and looked down. Her jobs were...? Ah, she'd been afraid of that. At least she still had her zanpaku'tou, and was a skilled fighter in her own right.
If, indeed, it did come down to a fight. She couldn't share Jack's gratitude, but she held her peace for the time being. Being banished to the rift did grant her an opportunity to speak to her brother, her captain, and Renji. More importantly, she'd been able to ask Urahara for help. He hadn't been able to offer much, saying he needed to study the crystal itself, but based off of the one she herself carried, he said he might come up with something.
For an exorbitant price, of course, that bastard.
