"It's not the most positive thought, but- this isn't the best position we've been put in. And- it's perhaps for the better if we confide in each other." Admittedly, she wasn't always the best at doing so herself, but she could try. "Besides- perhaps if there are two of us in the end, we might be able to cope with matters at home better," she added, trying for some levity. Certainly she imagined it would help in Eorzea.
