It's bad that they were affected by the Calamity and we should try to do something to help them but I'm betting they aren't the only city to be facing that situation. I'm not sure just how many of us there are here so there may not be enough Heroes to protect it and every other city.
[Sora would offer his services if he felt he was capable of taking on his Calamity self anytime soon but if he went without facing it, he and everyone else may regret it.]
But if they want to stay and reclaim it, then you've got all the manpower you need. It's their home and that means they'll fight harder than anyone to get it back.
