"Don't worry, I'm not going to pry if you don't want to tell me," he replied to her assuming that her melancholy was due to not wanting to explain things. He was off the mark however since he hardly knew the girl. If he knew her better he'd tell her that she was no one's stand-in and there would be no one to replace her period. Honestly, he couldn't replace anyone he knew with someone else. They were all different and special in their own way.

"I wouldn't call him a pet, more like friend. I left him with my roommate. He tends to take care of him when I can't."

Yuri replied as she asked about Repede. He assumed the dog would find interest in such a spunky princess, much like Rita. However, that was another story for another day, "You're fine. I was joking anyway."

He shrugged again. Yes, she was very much playing around and trying to lighten the mood for the both of them. There was no need to be serious about everything right. He retorted. Yuri reached over to turn off the light for the both of them once Natalia got settled. She could bathe later if she chose to or whatever she wanted but right now it was shut eye and Yuri wasn't taking no for an answer.
