Anise had to admit, after seeing Vanitas' shadow, she expected a lot worse out of the first appearance of Natalia's. That being said, she's not dropping her guard; she knows some of Natalia's baggage, and there was a potential for this to be a harder fight.

It's way more than not being polite, and Anise knows it, and so she's going to do her best to provoke the shadow. Partly because she has poor impulse control. Partly because the sooner it gets out into the open, the better.
