"Aerilon did do some evacuation, but a good many of the folk were too stubborn to leave." Mary smiled as she wandered up, having overheard the conversation. "As I hear it there were ships getting folk out but most didn't oblige those who wanted to overcharge them for it. A few were working to make sure people did get out though, but coordination got harder as the Calamity spread and all."

That and between her airship being out of commission for a few months and the different murders and machinations by their enemies it made it difficult to make trips over. She wasn't thrilled with this and it was a good deal of the weight presently sitting on her shoulders. But for the moment she was still in charge of the Assassins and had to do what she could.

"There's not so much a real leader in Aerilon so much as different factions and groups who control different parts of town and the economy there. A Free City, if you like. The folks keep themselves in check." She leaned back on her heel, making a show of looking the Princess up and down. Poor girl would be eaten alive there. "You looking to make a trip over?"
