"Aye, that's true. And offering to help him out with things works well as well. I've done a few deliveries for him and such and it's worked out well for all of us." She was still a little concerned about his dealings with Palitutu a long while back but it didn't seem that he was complicit in any of her darker machinations.

"I think you'll be fine for a short visit but mind your purse. There's a lot of merchants there, and a fair few won't have any qualms about raising their prices if they think they can get away with it. And then there are those who might just try to make you a coinpurse lighter entirely." She smirked, stroking her chin.

"That's not to say the place is lawless. There's no proper police force there, but the city watches itself for the most part. Folks can't live free if they spend all their time watching for knives in the dark after all. And that's what they appreciate there. And it seems there are a few there who try to help keep the peace without mandating how people go about it."
