Hopefully it wasn't a terrible thing for Akane to just kind of...rush right over without waiting for a response to her letter. She was pretty sure she hadn't stabbed and killed anyone named Donny while she was possessed, and he hadn't sent her any angry notes about zombifying any friends and loved ones. So either he didn't know, or he didn't blame her for being possessed that month.

Thank goodness, because that wasn't a first impression she'd wanted to make! She hurried over, slightly weighed down by the gunblade sheathed across her slim back. The job did give her a little more strength than usual, but she'd always been a little on the puny side. As reluctant as she was to take up either the Engineer or Magitek Knight jobs, the problems that came with them were due more to the machines. She could fight with just a bullet-shooting sword and not have to worry all that much, right? Right.

Upon arriving, she dropped into a low bow at the waist, the handle of her sword nearly bopping her in the back of the head. "Pleased to meet you!" she greeted the two somewhat breathlessly. "My name is Akane. I look forward to working with you both."
