"Well...technically it's a monster, but not the kind you need to defeat with weapons," she explained as she walked beside Naminé. "There are a few rare friendly monsters that dwell in this world. From what I've read, they can be distinguished from the others because they'll ask you for something in particular. There's a cactus monster in the desert that will ask for water, and a hamster that wants you to pet it."

She chuckled and patted her coin purse. "Cait Sith is interested in money, according to the reports. Pay him, and he'll help you get better at your equipped jobs without any extra training."

Akane was perfectly fine with allowing Duster to take the lead. She wasn't completely wet behind the ears when it came to fighting monsters, but she was still a beginner, especially with the use of a gunblade.

"The problem is that they're hard to find. We're likely to run into several of the dangerous kinds of monsters before we find our kitty friend."
