[The man that spoke with Chiaki, Tsubomi, Jack, and Cloud stands on one end of the room and faces the thirteen Heroes of this cycle, his helmet still in his arm. Behind him are twelve figures in armor, their faces obscured. One stands before the others, his stature and presence indicating that he is the most important of them.
When all of the Heroes have entered the room, the man speaks.]
We have long awaited thee, fated Heroes ten and three. If you provest your worth before our Lord, you shall command the power of our staves and sword.
[The familiar man turns to the regal figure, who nods in approval. The speaker dons a helmet and pulls down the visor to shield his face. He draws a staff from his robes, and holds it before him in a defensive position.]
Draw your swords from your sheaths and your courage from within, if ye wouldst see the cycle come to an end. We summon our full strength, so you must hold nothing back. Judgement Day is upon you. Make ready and ATTACK!
BOSS BATTLE: Knights of the Round Arthur: Onion Knight Lamorak: Warrior Gareth: Monk Bedivere: Ninja Tristan: Thief Percival: White Mage Bors: Black Mage Gawain: Red Mage Geraint: Dragoon Galahad: Paladin Lancelot: Dark Knight Kay: Chocobo Knight Gaheris: Archer
The original Heroes of Light who defeated the Calamity from the Skies and sealed it away. It is said the very first Jobs new Heroes of Light encounter in their quest are inherited from them. Filled with regrets as their heroic deeds allowed Garland to start the cycle of Crystallis, their spirits have lingered in the Temple of the Heroes of Light, unable to find rest. Ever since then, they have been waiting for those who would be able to put an end to that which they started.
[Sir Percival, staff at the ready, takes the first move with casting Protect on King Arthur. Others also prepare by strengthening themselves. Sir Gareth uses Boost on himself, raising his stats for the next few rounds. Sir Kay casts Choco Barrier on all of the knights, raising their physical and mental defenses. Meanwhile, Sir Bedivere completely disappears from sight.
But not all knights open the battle with caution. They had been imprisoned for thousands upon thousands of years, for countless cycles. Time can wear down a man's resolve. Sir Lamorak has been agitated the entire time he was waiting for the Heroes to return, angry at his imprisonment. These Heroes of Light are the first new people he has seen. Strangers. Enemies to unleash his pent-up frustration on.
He charges ahead with reckless abandon, screaming in rage and brandishing his sword without care for tactics. How long it has been since he last found against hordes of evil!]
Infideeels!
[Those that remain behind cast their opening attacks. Through the use of Dualcast, Sir Gawain casts Holy Light on Jack Harkness, then Dark Cloud on Sparks Nevada. Sir Bors follows up with a Firaga cast on Ramza, and Gaheris takes several steps closer to fire a Heavy Shot at Chiaki.
Sir Lancelot and Sir Galahad run at the Heroes together with Sir Tristan staying behind them, protected from the front by them. Lancelot strikes at Tear with Soul Energy, sacrificing a portion of his health to deal damage, while Galahad uses Stock Break on the entire party of Heroes. Sir Geraint prepares for his next turn and Jumps.
King Arthur does not move as he observes the Knights cross swords with the 13 Heroes.]
