After being hit with that shot, Chiaki is glad she chose to include the Engineer's stats as part of her lineup for Onion Knight. It makes up for the abysmal defenses of the White Mage job she has equipped alongside it - and between that and Jade's buff, while she does take a fair bit of damage, she's got enough fight left in her to stay up and aid the group.

"Kupo!"

The familiar sound emanates from Chiaki's robes before her moogle Mogomi pops out, imbued with the powers from the Beastmaster Job and ready to lend a hand. She's chewing on a Kupo Nut she'd popped into her mouth before the group entered - she isn't a valid target for Gift of Crystallis as a moogle, after all - and then she gets down to business by casting Meteor on the group of knights.

"Good job, Mogomi."

Chiaki smiles down at her little helper, gripping her staff in hand as she turns her own attention to their adversaries. Trusting her allies to guard her and to take down the Paladin and White Mage with their own attacks, for the moment she decides to focus on their big damage dealer. She sends a Holy spell in Lancelot's direction to piggyback off of Tsubomi's own efforts, knowing he should be weak to the light element. And after that, she casts Curaga on Tear. If Lancelot doesn't go down, she's going to need it.
