[Two poison attacks, Mega Bio and Bio Blast, strike all of the knights, slightly damaging all of them but poisoning Lamorak, Gareth, Tristan, Bors, Galahad, Gaheris, and Gawain. All will receive continuous damage over the next five turns.
However, with both poison moves, the group-cast Meteor, and Climhazzard, King Arthur responds with a powerful Counter Attack, hitting Mikleo, Chiaki, Tsubomi, and Sparks with an attack of twice the usual strength. He returns to his spot in the back of the room, still refusing to move or join the battle, but his postures reveals that he has become interested in the battle.
Chiaki's poor luck continues as Sir Geriant finally completes his Jump attack, landing on her and leaving her barely clinging to life.
The attacks all deal good damage to the knights they target, particularly Lancelot being hit by two light attacks. However, when Ramza uses Final Fantasy, the power of the attack can be felt by all in the room, and and Sir Gaheris momentarily halts his attack out of shock. They had underestimated the power of the Freelancer in their cycle.
K'pandolu deals damage to Sir Percival, but she is unable to steal anything. The Knights of the Round are merely ghosts of the Heroes of the first cycle and do not carry material possessions on them.
Sir Lamorak sees Sephiroth coming in his line of sight and the minute the other is in his way, he quickly continues speeding at Sephiroth with Ice Brand. He's not letting the other stop him if the attack has anything to say about it.
Sir Gareth casts Chakra on himself, curing the poison from his body. With severe damages to their paladin and dark knight, Sir Gawain casts Cura on Galahad and Lancelot, and Percival assist him by casting Curaga on Sir Gaheris. Seeing that the Heroes are shrouding themselves in mist, he decides to do the same and cast Camouflage on his party while they recuperate and prepare for their next set of attacks.
With the entire battlefield obscured from view, Sir Bors has difficulty finding one specific target. This is made worse with the copies Nanami created. A lighter attack that is sure to hit is better than a heavy one with low accuracy, so he casts Thundaja on the entire party. However, this is strong enough to kill Chiaki.
Sir Galahad uses the opportunity to cast Protect on his ally Sir Lancelot, who has been receiving much of the damage the past round and is in the most danger. Said ally is ready to rush into the fray despite the odds and strikes Jade with Life Drain. Sir Kay follows him, and his beloved Chocobo steed assists in attacking, but neither manage to successfully hit anyone.
Sir Tristan, the ever observant, keeps a low profile during the fight, focusing on the Heroes of Light during the battle. He manages to use Larceny successfully on Tsubomi, stealing her buffs. Sir Bedeviere, as a Ninja, is barely hampered by the mist or the copies. Picking Ramza as the largest threat at the moment, he Throws a Mythril Sword at him from his position near the Heroes.]
