Even as he pressed his attack on Galahad, Cloud took note of the battle raging around him. Arthur's counter attack was a good warning to him. If he unleashed any of his attacks that would hit all of the Knights at once he'd catch his ire. With the group attacks being thrown back at them it occurred to him to hold back on his strongest attack a bit longer until the Heroes weren't under pressure to defend.

But apart from that thunderstrike Cloud remained unharmed and untargeted, which honestly surprised him a bit. And the stats he was taking from Paladin, Pirate and Magitek Knight helped his defense to boot leaving him fairly well off after the fact. But no reason not to take advantage of that. Fear struck him briefly as Chiaki was hit by the barrage of attacks, habit from being Paladin for months nearly drawing him away from his own point, but the others moved quickly and Cloud was glad to have such good allies and friends fighting by his side.

So if Arthur was a target to be wary of he'd just have to narrow his attack to the rest of the knights closest to him and Galahad. He clashed with the Paladin once more, but only to keep the other knight toe to toe with him. He focused on what magic he had available to him. This would be the only casting he'd get of this and if it dropped one of the foes then it would be worth it.

With the spell prepared both Cloud's eyes and his sword flashed a bright green. He disengaged from the paladin, using the momentum to leap into the air and then strike the ground where he had been standing.
