There's a faint 'oof' as the small seraph lands on top top of Tear since he was shielding her from the weapon. Seeing that it had missed her, made him feel very relieved as he caught his breath. The number decreasing was mighty nerve wrecking. Not that he had time to really feel the urgency. Jade's Curaga helped him greatly as he was able to push himself up in Tear's protection.

"Right, let's not make any careless mistakes!"

He shouted back at Jade as a form of thanks. Mikleo threw his staff in the air to cast two Curagas. One at K'Pandolu and the other at Jack.
