With enough time, Mikleo was able to move away from Tear so she was able to support herself in the battle. After taking the support role for a duration of the battle, he dashes forward, following Jade's words.

Mikleo aimed his staff at Arthur and casts Meteor first and letting Jade fill the field with Ultima. Following the man, he casts a second Meteor with all his might. He better hope that the two of them could at least stun Arthur enough for the rest of the team to hit them.
