[During the furious onslaught of blades, fists, and magic, the remaining knights fall. As the final strike lands on Arthur, he drops to one knee. The 1 hovering in the sky above begins to dissolve, like sand draining from an hourglass. When it disappears, Arthur stands back up, sword in hand. A bright light and rushing wind floods the temple, and when it ceases, his twelve knights stand beside him once more.

Arthur raises a hand for silence before speaking.]

Sir Percival called for warriors three and ten to come before us. You who came have proven to be more than that. Strategists, healers, mages, friends to the Eidolons. Ones who would place themselves into harm's way to protect one another. Brothers, and sisters, in arms. We called for warriors, but I am pleased, for we have received Heroes.

If you seek to break the Cycle, you shall have our aid. Call upon my knights when you face Garland. Though we cannot defeat him, we can rend his armor. The rest shall be up to you, but it will be within your reach. You have proven it so.

[He nods to Percival. Percival steps forward and raises his staff. The spell he casts is one beyond the skill of an ordinary White Mage. Each of the thirteen Heroes finds themselves completely restored, their health and energy back to maximum, their equipment and weapons undamaged and even polished to appear new. Ramza's Excalibur is back in his sword belt. Tristan winks at the Freelancer when he discovers it there.]

You have done well. Our hope is restored. We find you worthy of our strength and our sword. [Percival tells them before stepping back into the ranks of the Knights.]
