What: Biggs has assigned a job to protect the city from Bad Santas. Tsubomi's on the job. Again!

Tsubomi had been given a job by Biggs - she has to wonder if they get tired of the begging and handing out of jobs or not - and this one seems to hit home quite well. There were burglary reports from people dressed as Santa breaking into homes. She didn't want to disappoint people and quickly accepted the job that'll let her regain her old Santa job.

It may be night time, but Tsubomi was willing to stay up to catch someone. At the moment, she opted to take up her Pirate and Gunner jobs, hoping the two jobs and the sight of her old Airship would be enough to scare criminals into giving up.

And while there was another out there doing the same, she wouldn't mind some sort of help as well!

Natalia had been appalled at the notion that these bandits not only had the gall to steal from people's homes, but did so wearing the clothes of a figure that children loved and trusted. This terrible injustice could not be allowed to continue, and she accepted the assignment at once, vowing that they would put a stop to the crime spree.

Later she reflected on the oddness of being asked to stop some thieves while requesting the Thief job, but her idea of a Thief was quite different.

Much as she disliked the idea of setting aside her White Mage job, she couldn't equip three at once, and healing spells did little to discourage a brute the way an arrow did. And as she couldn't possibly take off the Santa Claus job in the month it was most needed, she kept that one as well. She thought she might need it (the All-Knowing List in particular) in order to determine whether someone dressed as Santa Claus entering a home was a beloved family member surprising his kids, or a rotten scoundrel who needed to be stopped.

She approached Tsubomi, tugging her scarf down from her mouth and nose before shaking some of the snow out of her short hair. "Shall we split up and cover different districts, or stick together? Both options have their merits."

Tsubomi turned to Natalia as she pondered their options. "I think we should stick together. If anything, I have an Airship and we can cross the districts faster than on foot."

A few moments later, she whispered. "My name's Tsubomi. Thanks for joining me."

Thanks to the encouragement of her fellow Assassins and the repair of her airship, Mary was well getting back into the swing of things. And while the rooftop patrols of Aqures Ixen remained one of her regular habits, she was also busy seeing to guild hall in Aerilon. Still, people taking advantage of the simple and necessary joy of Christmas for criminal ends could not stand.

But while she stayed vigilant on this, this tag is not about her. Because as offended as Mary was about people dressing as Santa to commit crimes, there was another spurred to action.

With her hood down and bundled up in a little cloak, Bonnie sat on the edge of a rooftop watching as people came and went. She watched the festive celebrants, whether on their own or with families or groups. Her pom gave a little shiver as the wind blew her way but she steeled herself against it. A cup of cocoa would be her reward after a good night's work. She'd keep those children's dreams safe!

"ACHOO! Pyuuu, it's cold, kupo!" So much for her serious image as a defender of the night.

Natalia smiled, shaking her head. "Pleased to meet you, Tsubomi. My name is Natalia. There's no need to thank me. I'm proud of the opportunity we've been given to ruin the plans of these opportunistic scoundrels. Of all the nerve, taking on the guise of a trusted and beloved man for the sake of greed! It's not to be borne."

She might be a little riled up about the crimes.

"Let's remain silent as we patrol, then. They're unlikely to make a move if they think they're being watched, and I wouldn't wish to act too hastily and strike an innocent person who just wanted to surprise his family."
